1. Motor and Motion Control
The drive system determines how smoothly and reliably an automatic barrier gate operates. Modern barriers may use electromechanical, brushless or hydraulic drive technologies, depending on the application and traffic frequency. Position feedback from encoders or other sensing technologies enables controlled acceleration, deceleration and stopping, helping reduce mechanical impact and improve operating consistency.
2. Vehicle Detection and Trigger Control
A smart parking barrier gate needs reliable vehicle detection. Induction loops remain widely used for detecting vehicles at access lanes, while radar-based detection can provide an alternative where cutting into the pavement is undesirable.
